شوق کا امتØاں جو ÛÙوا سو ÛÙوا / So it happened that passions were put on trial
جسم Ùˆ جاں کا زیاں جو ÛÙوا سو ÛÙوا /So it happened that lives were wasted
سÙود سے پیشتر ÛÛ’ زیاں اور بھی / but before any gain are losses even more
دوستو ' ماتم جسم وجاں اور بھی / friends, we will mourn lives and bodies even more
اور بھی تلخ تر امتØاں اور بھی / even more bitter trials await us, even more.
