		<description>If it's any consolation, the trope of a cop whose hands are tied by the system and who needs (needs!) to use rough interrogation techniques to stop the baddies is unfortunately a staple of American cop TV Shows/Movies.  It usually applies to whatever villain is on display that week.</description>
