Probably my single favorite Urdu poem; probably one of my favorite poems in any language. The English cannot do justice to the wistfulness of “ye woh sehar to nahin jis kee aarzoo le kar / chale the yaar ke mil jaayega kahin na kahin / falak ke dasht mein taaron ki aakhree manzil…”

Well your wishes ahh. if only they could be fulfilled next time i blinked my eyes.
but as for your wish number 5 i must tell you that the research budget was doubled by the govt and last year less then half of it was applied for. that means there arent enough applications for the money strange isnt it
